I started my pottery journey in Arizona, USA in 2024 while exploring different crafts. Pottery quickly stuck with me because I loved the idea of making functional wares for my own home. I learned under four different instructors and picked up different tips and tricks from each of them. I enjoyed group classes because I could socialize and learn from other students, but I realized I wasn’t progressing as fast as I wanted. Classes often felt more like a gathering than a focused lesson, and the instructor’s attention couldn’t be fully on me the whole time, which was something I felt I needed as a beginner. That’s why I decided to start Klei, to reach out to people who feel the same way and prefer 1-on-1 teaching. My goal is to help you build a strong foundation so you can confidently create your own beautiful pieces after.
