Frequently asked questions

Can I extend the validity of my pottery package?

For most cases, no. I believe you will lose touch with your progress, and your pieces would dry out and not be trimmable if you take too long a break between sessions anyway. Its best to finish out your sessions within the validity of the packages.

Do I need any prior experience to attend a class?

No you do not! My classes are tailored towards complete beginners to intermediate levels.

What class packages do you offer?

We offer flexible class packages to suit your schedule and learning goals. Choose from our 1-class introductory session to experience wheel throwing, a 5-class package for building foundational skills, or our comprehensive 10-class package for advanced techniques and mastery. All classes are personalized to your pace and experience level.

Are classes women-only?

Yes! All of our wheel throwing classes are exclusively for women. We create a supportive, judgment-free learning environment where women can explore their creativity and build confidence at their own pace.

Is there a minimum age required to join the classes?

Yes, minimum age to join is 16. Parents are welcome to sit around to observe their child!

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable, casual clothes that you don't mind getting messy, I provide aprons if you want to wear them as well.

Where are classes held?

All classes are held in my home studio, creating an intimate and comfortable learning space. The studio is fully equipped with professional pottery wheels, clay, and all necessary tools. You'll receive the address and other details upon booking. Classes are one-on-one, so you'll have my complete attention and can work at your own pace in a relaxed home environment.

What's included in the classes?

Each class includes personalized instruction on wheel throwing techniques, all clay and materials, use of professional pottery equipment, and finishing techniques. I provide one-on-one feedback and adjust the curriculum to your learning style. You'll work on projects that interest you, while learning the techniques for wheel throwing.

How long is each class?

Each class session is 2 hours long, giving you plenty of time to warm up, practice techniques, and work on your projects without feeling rushed. The two-hour format allows for meaningful progress while keeping the experience enjoyable and not overwhelming. You can schedule classes at times that work best for you, whether that's weekday evenings or weekend sessions.
